EA Introduces AI to Detect Player Behaviors

Have you ever befriended a foe and then went on to play Monopoly with the rest of the players as you both colluded behind their backs?

Turns out, EA Sports hates that. So they’ve come up with an AI tool that helps detect player behaviors to prevent this kind of collusion from happening.

The AI will go through:

  • Your prior data in EA

  • You and your opponent's past chat history

  • Your social media friendship records

  • Both of your data in other EA games

EA is doing all this to stay in line with its fair play rules since any prior bond can impact a player’s behavior on how they treat an opponent.

Is this a good solution in a world where phone calls and video chats are easier than in-game chats? Either way, the next time you spare your friend in Skyrim while torturing other players, know that EA is watching.

Alexa’s Echo Show is equipped with tools to create animated stories for Kids

Get ready parents, Baby Shark will now be available in black&white, launched in space, and will have new tunes and heroes.

Amazon has announced “Create with Alexa”, available on supported Echo Shows across the US, to create animated stories for kids.

Here’s how it’ll go:

  • Your child will say “Alexa, make a story,”

  • They will then choose from 3 prompts: space exploration, enchanted forest, or underwater.

  • Then choose a theme like happy, silly, etc., a hero as well as other characters, and colors.

  • And there, your child’s own personalized animated story right on your TV.

Amazon claims the story will be different every time even if the child chooses the same prompts.

Rest assured, I will be using this tech for my own entertainment and my kids can play with their boring human toys.
