Tesla Semi Truck - Will it live up to expectations?
Tesla Semi, AI Athletics, and a Roundup to Close the Week

Welcome to another steaming hot cup of AI updates!
If you ask one reason why bots could overtake humans, I’d say priorities.
They're as messed up as my “artistic” sibling’s room; go in for a pen, come out with 2 different moisturizers, a paint tube, and no idea why you'd gone inside.

Tesla Semi and Its Pros and Cons
Tesla has tagged its latest semi-truck as the future of trucking. As a sustainable vehicle, Tesla’s latest invention is a huge step forward for huge vehicles.

Let’s have a look:
The truck has a range of up to 500 miles and consumes less than 2KWh per mile of energy.
With its 3 electric motors, the vehicle can be put on instant torque and also provides easy navigation to drivers.
The concern, though, is that the vehicle’s price is still unknown and its full load of 82,000 pounds is above legal guidelines.
So whether Tesla’s Semi is a solution or an even bigger problem, remains to be seen.
If we know anything about Musk’s inventions, it’s good to stick to the normal boring trucks for now.
AI is Helping Recruit, Train, and Manage Athletes
AI is becoming increasingly utilized in the sports industry to assess players and manage their diet and athletic lifestyle.
On this week's edition of AI Nuggets:
AI is used in sports for boosting performance and health thanks to predictive analysis. With the advent of wearables that gather information about strain and tear levels, athletes can avoid serious injuries. But that's just the beginning.— Tech Savvy Law Club, EKSU (@tslc_eksu)

So the next time you switch on your favorite team’s football match, know that referee decisions aren’t the only thing AI is influencing:
AI is helping clubs and organizations study player motion, skillsets, abilities, etc.
It’s also helping recruiters study the strengths and weaknesses of potential prospects.
In all sports, AI helps determine speed, interceptions, and a general idea of future performances.

・AI creates innovative training methods for athletes to improve their skills and performance.
・It also creates personalized training programs for individuals, taking into account their unique strengths, weaknesses, and goals.

Opinion of the Day
We once asked our writer friend if he was worried AI will take over his job.
Burned out and still passionately working on his projects, he sighed, “No, I don’t think Artificial Intelligence could take my job, only a real idiot would do what I do.”
And that’s what today’s opinion piece is about, Glenn Kramon’s take on AI writing generation and how it's years away from human work.
Summing up his thoughts:
Reading his students’ AI-generated essays, he feared for his job and then sighed after taking a closer look.
Kramon believes AI does a good job of presenting information, but if paid attention, most AI writings lack context, and the wrong use of grammar further ruins their case.
There’s a certain individuality in emotional tone and deliverance from humans that AI can’t provide.
His opinions speak out our own thoughts perfectly.
We agree that AI has a long way to go to even come up with a fraction of what Shakespeare, Jane Austen, and all the greats could write in seconds.
