ChatGPT puzzles with Nuclear prompts as Lensa Makes Portraits

Hey Tech Fanatics, ready for a new dose of AI and robotics? First, you need to tell us which blocks have a traffic light because it’s not looking good for us now,
What’s On the Plate Today?
Let’s See:
ChatGPT puzzles users with its unlimited responses
LensaAI - the new tool to replace filters
New AI to help predict diabetes onset
Samsung teams up with NAVER
Sony Japan is yet to figure out what to build robots for
Lo Robot, the new self-driven logistics bot
Lenovo and DUT partner for Robogirl program
NASA set to test a new arm for their space voyages
Dave, the robodog, gets a new job
Solidus AI partners with Meta’s Galaxy Arena
ChatGPT - An Answer or an Even Bigger Problem?
As Meta’s Galactica left the room, ChatGPT entered. And now it’s becoming “all the rage”.
OpenAi’s bot, ChatGPT, went viral last week as users started interacting with it more prominently.
ChatGPT really sold it with that final Meow!

Now, users are concerned about its dangers, with some claiming it will take over Google one day.
Here’s all you need to know:
Users prompt their queries on the bot which answers them in a very human, conversational tone.
A lot of users have utilized it for basic questions and queries.
Some users have also prompted it to tell them about making a Molotov cocktail or Nuclear Bomb.
This is a potential threat since it could lead to the bot becoming a weapon for bad people.
OpenAi says it’s put some regulations to keep ChatGPT in check, but they’re limited and could get exploited.

We're yet to see how an AI that meows willingly could be evil, but then if we've learned anything from petting cats, we'd be very cautious.
LensaAi is Taking Social Media by Storm
Have you seen AI-generated self-portraits of your friends on Instagram recently? It’s all due to LensaAi.
People have been increasingly using Lensa to make AI-generated images of themselves in different settings (space, sci-fi, anime, etc.).
Generally:
Artists don’t dislike AI art because it’s “not real art” etc.
Artists dislike AI art because the programs are “trained” unethically using databases of art belonging to artists who have not given their consent.
This is not about gatekeeping. This is about theft.

But there’s a lot more to what’s bothering most people:
Built through Stable Diffusion’s free platform, Lensa is charging people to make portraits of them.
Two parts of this that’s concerning people:
All of this can be done for free on Stable Diffusion which people are paying Lensa for.
Most of the “artwork” comes from years of hard work done by artists, stock photographers, etc. that Stable Diffusion has been trained with.
Experts are also worried that Lensa being so readily used on social platforms means people aren’t thinking about its ethical implications.
just so you know:
it shouldn't be called "AI art" since it's not an actual artificial intelligence but just a program who recognize patterns.
if it was true "AI" it could create something from scratch without the need to steal already human created art.— 𝕲𝖔𝖉𝖎𝖛𝖆 𝕲𝖍𝖔𝖚𝖑 (@godiva_ghoul)

Only a matter of time “Art Influencers” use this to impress audiences that are yet to learn anything about AI image generation.
Don’t know about you all but I’ll be ready with my popcorn when that happens.
Other News:
Researchers introduce an AI that could predict diabetes onset with 12 hours of blood glucose data collected on a wearable device. Maybe I should invest in it for my diabetic DNA-prone family.
Samsung electronics teams up with NAVER to develop Samsung’s hardware and software to efficiently handle AI workloads. I also want an intern to help me with the same.
Sony Japan claims it has all the tech to make humanoid robots but needs to figure out their effective usage. What’s to think about? From Baymax to Transformers, the field has every possibility.
Meet Lo Robot, an AI-based self-driven logistics robot by Hills Robotics. Guess which department Amazon’s going to lay off next once they get their hands on Lo?
In some good news, Lenovo and DUT partnered on the Robogirl program to train young girls in STEM from 15 schools.
NASA is testing a new “arm” to deal with cold cryogenic conditions in lunar weather the next time they launch into space. Sounds cool, right?
The robodog, Dave, has landed his first job at Heathrow as they look to make their safety efficient on construction projects. Seems interesting going forward.
Solidus Ai partners with Metaverse’s Galaxy Arena to develop gaming projects further. Cool! Can’t wait to see what this brings.
AI Fundings

Chattermill, which uses AI for customer data, raises $26M.
Applied Ai company gets $42M in funding.
Meme of the Day
Now that we know bots may have a response to digital captchas, what will they do against this genius?
